I started at Droylsden Road Dental Practice in 2003 as Business Supervisor. In 2012 I became a Partner and CQC registered manager for the practice. Since June 2015 I have been the principal of the practice, I have led the now 23 strong dental team towards striving to achieve the best possible patient-led dental care, in a thriving, growing and supportive environment. I work to ensure the continual progression of the team and the practice towards achieving the highest standard of dental care for our patients.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing football and am an avid reader. I spend my free time with my two daughters, and we particularly enjoy travelling.

I qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2007 and relocated to Manchester where I have worked in DRDP for over 15 years. As clinical lead I am passionate about my career as a dentist and take pride in the strong relationships I have created with our patients and colleagues throughout my years at the practice. In addition to my clinical role, I have been an educational supervisor for 10 years, mentoring newly graduated dentists; a fulfilling and rewarding aspect of my job.

I have done an abundance of postgraduate courses in restorative dentistry, patient management and facial aesthetics. My lifelong approach to learning and education, ensures I am always enhancing my skills and staying at the top of the dentistry field. This all enables me to serve my patients’ individual dental needs whether it be general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, or managing dental anxiety. My unique approach to working with anxious patients, means I am able to treat all patients in an expert, gentle and comfortable manner.

In my spare time I enjoy Pilates, hiking and spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy charity work, of note is my work with Bridge2Aid, working in rural Tanzania to provide dental treatment to patients with limited or no access to dental care.

As clinical lead I welcome you to DRDP where we strive to provide excellent care to all our patients, in a safe and friendly environment.

I obtained my dental qualification in 2001 from the University of Manchester and in 2004 I was awarded my postgraduate diploma MFGDP(UK) from the Royal College of Surgeons England, with whom I have remained an active member.

I have been a General Dental Practitioner for over 20 years and strive to provide patients with high quality care in a friendly, caring enviroment. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry, both NHS and private, including cosmetic procedures from whitening to crown and veneer provision.

I also have a passion about dental education and teaching and am an Educational Supervisor with Health Education England, responsible for training the next generation of NHS dental practitioners in their first year of practice.

Outside dentistry, I share my free time socialising with friends and family, playing a variety of sports to try to keep fit and am an avid traveler.

After qualifying from the University of Liverpool, I completed my foundation training at Droylsden Road Dental Practice, and have remained here as an associate ever since.

I enjoy all aspects of general family dentistry, endeavouring to deliver friendly and professional care to all patients. I also offers Facial Aesthetic treatment, Invisalign and other cosmetic treatments to my patients.

Always keen to develop and further my skills, 2023 will see me embark on a 2 year Diploma in Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry, as well as further facial aesthetic courses, to be able to add more facial treatments to my remit.

My spare time is mostly spent with family and friends. I enjoy travelling, running, and being outdoors.

I graduated from Liverpool University earning degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Dentistry.

Since qualifying I have completed postgraduate qualifications in Clear Aligner Therapy and Medical Education, also completing a one year Aesthetics and Restorative Dentistry course.

I have been working at Droylsden Road Dental Practice as an associate since 2018 and I offer a range of private treatments including Invisalign.

In my spare time I enjoy playing football and visiting new places.

I am a qualified Specialist in Orthodontics, having achieved the Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) with Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and completed a MSc in Orthodontics at King’s College London. I am currently working in practice and hospital, providing a range of routine and complex Orthodontic treatments.

Having graduated Dentistry (BDS) from the University of Manchester, I completed my dental foundation training, followed by several years of core training in a wide range of dental specialities including Paediatric Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, before I went on to complete my Orthodontic Speciality Training.

I have been committed to continual professional development throughout my career, achieving the Diploma in Dental Surgery (MFDS) and undertaking a postgraduate certificate in Medical Education (UCLan) as I am passionate about mentoring and teaching. I have been involved in the publication of numerous scientific papers within the dental field.

I am a member of the British Orthodontic Society and Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. I am currently undertaking post-specialist training to become a Consultant in Orthodontics and regularly attend national and international conferences and society meetings.

Outside of dentistry, I love cooking and spending time with my friends and family. I am an avid traveller and also a committed violinist, playing with the European Doctors Orchestra and World Doctor’s Orchestra, across the world.

After graduating from Newcastle University, I completed my foundation training at Droylsden Road Dental Practice. I now work as an associate offering both NHS and private treatment in all aspects of restorative dentistry, oral surgery and Invisalign orthodontics.

One of my favourite aspects of working in general practice, is building meaningful relationships with my patients and their families. I take pride in maintaining a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in my surgery and I have a particular interest in treating children and anxious patients. I am very passionate about dental treatment being accessible for all.

When I'm not at the practice, you will find me outside. I enjoy trail running, walking, practicing yoga and socialising with friends.

I have been a registered dental nurse since 2008 and since qualifying I have worked at DRDP, both as senior dental nurse and now practice manager.

My previous role as senior dental nurse meant that I gained extensive clinical and managerial experience in primary dental care, with the aim of delivering a high level of dental care to our patients.

I have also taken an active role in the education of our trainee nurses and foundation dentists.

Following completion of my Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Management I took on the role of Practice Manager in 2010 and continue to carry out this role, a job I thoroughly enjoy. I strive to provide a nurturing and caring environment for our staff and patients, ensuring we deliver the highest standard of care.
